Wrigley’s mints are for years recognised as the top preference amongst gum eaters. Although, Wrigley’s wasn’t available in India, we all had somewhere loved the taste of the long strips of gum uncle Sam got for us.

UNITED STATES - FEBRUARY 06: Packs of Wrigley chewing gum are displayed in Westerville, Ohio, Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007. Mars Inc. and Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc. may be close to buying Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. for more than $22 billion in a deal that would combine two of the biggest U.S. candy makers, the Wall Street Journal reported. (Photo by Gary Gardiner/Bloomberg via Getty Images)

The media has seen enough of love being propagated through menthol products, but do we see an added freshness to this Wrigley’s ad for India?

Wrigley’s launched in India and they want us (Read – Indians) to #StartSomethingFresh

The brand has known for promoting everlasting love in their brand communication featuring Sarah and Juan as the ambassadors of passion and love. We know Love is an extremely overdone style of brand communication here.

We are optimistic about wrigley’s being a hit in the country, but for the ad… Let’s say we liked it.
