Burger King, the brand otherwise famous for ambushing the clown. Apart from serving mouth-watering Whoppers has gone out of the way to help one of their fans.
On #WorldWishDay (29th April) the brand launched a social media campaign where they decided to fulfill their fans wishes. These fans weren’t their religious social media followers, but random strangers who thought it was a good idea to make a wish to the burger giant. Ayan Roy was the guy who got lucky.
His wish was pretty simple, he asked for a free Whopper. The biggest catch here was, Ayan stays in Ghawati and Burger King is yet to launch its store there. This didn’t stop the brand to make the fan happy.
Here’s how they set to get Ayan his Whopper.
On June 3rd, 2016, Burger King flew Ayan from Ghawati to Aamchi Mumbai with utmost vanity. Ayan was welcomed at the Mumbai airport with Burger King staff with T-shirts, crowns and scroll itinerary. Later he was taken to the BK outlet where he interacted with the staff and got a chance to make a Whopper for himself. This burger expedition converged at the Burger King India office where he gelled in with the employees and had a complete realisation of his wish.
